A pretty successful exercise in gaseous forms, this cloud was initially done as just a practice exercise, but held together well enough in space that I felt it needed some kind of addition to it to finish it off, so it developed these downward spears, which worked really well as a counterpoint to the softness of the cloud. The spears were done with selection tools and paths with a minimal bit of overpainting at the end, whereas the cloud was all blender brushes with a bit of airbrushing over the top.
