I’ve done a lot of layouts for David Colohan under various guises via Cruel Nature over the years and it’s provided me with a great opportunity to build a consistent aesthetic with the images around the music he’s released. Running from the original Walking Ghost Phase design I’ve kept an image plus border kind of theme throughout, with variations on that dependent on the image provided and the music within. Walking Ghost Phase started with a kind of book of folklore theme which has become a bit more subtle through later releases, but the embellished borders remain, providing a visual through-line of the various releases.

A bunch of layouts shown below, also showing how the cassette labels have gone from stickers to single colour prints through to full colour.

These were all released on cassette by Cruel Nature.
