This was another one where I had pretty free reign. I wanted to get at something similarly cosmic scale to the previous Charlie Butler release I’d worked on but that fit with the title, so this doomed astronaut was born. I imagine this guy unconsious within his suit while his jetpack carried him ever further from salvation. Unipin on paper for this one, with a bit of digital colouring and a grey blue atmospheric fade toward the bottom.
