Colugo was Jake Bielby (Live Burial, Plague Rider, Bone Tomb) and myself, on guitar and vocals respectively, playing improvised textural ‘drone’ through our respective loopers and effects. I did a lot of guttural, textural stuff in this alongside bits of tonal input, and despite quite often drifting into maximal heavy territory, Jakes melodic sensibility meant that it kind of held onto a an eerie haunting quality throughout, which fit while with our moniker.
