This was actually a pretty early digital painting that I’m still quite fond of. I ended up spending a lot more time on it than I otherwise would have (and probably would need to now, given a bit of practice), but I think it holds together really nicely as some kind of cursed artefact – the transition from inorganic crystal to fleshy tendrils works really well.
