This image was taken of a test piece that I’d set up for an open studio that then went on to form the basis of a few other pieces that I was making with hessian and viscous fluids, but actually stands on its own as a image nicely. The original thing was a stitched together mass of hessian and string with scraps and a bunch of syrup poured inside, that slowly dripped out over the following few days into a rusty old crucible that I’d found.
