I did a load of Fret! layouts over the years, including a few records sleeves that I seem to have lost the original files for. Another one where I’d developed a consistent visual identity, largely around the tone of Tom McCarthaigh’s art style, which was always a joy to work with. I generally didn’t have to do a lot with these, or at least what I did have to do was pretty easy – I had set of pale marbling samples put together Fret! releases and layering and fading those around Tom’s art came pretty naturally, as did text placement. I’ve snipped and rotated the top chunk Through The Wound The Light comes in for visual ease.
