Lenz is a brand new noise-prog-rock outfit from myself, Lee Anderson (Live Burial, Plague Rider, Ceaseless Hunger), Tom Ault (Nuclear Sunset) and Sam Armstrong (Shan, Druidess). Named after this short story/fragment by Buchner, Lenz is a semi improvised sort-of-noise-rock affair, that draws from prog, metal and a range of other influences. I do a lot more spoke/clearer vocals that I have done in projects previously – leaning more into the below as well as my usual palette of gurgles and screeches.
