The music and thematics on this release had a scorched biblical quality, and the A Wheel Of Burning Eyes title came out of that. That along with the song titles made a pretty obviouse case for some kind of Ophanim. Rather than some kind of direct western biblical version, I was pretty keen to get at something that looked linked but presented in a more primitive way. Some kind of ur-version Ophanim still cloaked in the smoke and fire of ritual.

This was released on cassette on Cruel Nature Recordings. I did the layout work for this one as well.
