There was an aged cinematic quality to the Lucid Pyre material and I wanted to really ramp up the sort of decaying mansions and filigree element. To that end I set up the release across two cassettes in an debossed presentation box to make it feel more like an artefact. The debossed box (via Tiny Box Company) came with a set of presentation cards printed with a matte finish, giving glimpses of cropped cinematic stills to go with the isolated lyrics. Everything was kept specifically matte and grey for this, and even the kraft type card for the presentation box has its own kind of grain to it.
