A very simple early stages noisemaker knocked up for some noise making with Sean Wárs of Bodies On Everest / Hell On Hearth fame. This is just an aluminium tube with a couple of bolts and washers fitted to allow for a big spring in the middle. There’s a piezo and a jack socket fitted into one end and that’s it – a noise staff. Surprising range of sounds you can draw out of this from boomy thuds from vertical motion and clatter and clang from shaking it.
