I wanted to to something in keeping with the title for this one, as well as tie the images that I’d been sent for the layout together a bit more, so I ran everything through various noise filters before putting it together. I was after some kind of digital corruption/decay, so I layered the ‘wind’ filter on top of itself a few times to get the ‘dripping’ kind of effect, before doing a bit of selective erasing back to the original images and then bumping the contrast up and adding a few more layers of noise. I used a similar effect for the text, with it being rasterized and then ‘distressed’ with various noise filters/dissolve settings. The Cassettes were on-body single colour print for this, so I just took the ‘noise’ a few extra steps and then ran it through a threshold before it was printed onto the cassettes.
