Split
The cover image for this was taken of the innards of a very old, very rickety section of bowling ball return, from the brief period of my life when I worked as a maintenance man in a bowling alley. Similarly, the image on the inlay is taken from another section of the building where light seeped in through some venting. In both instances the darkness and lack of context put these things into a weird ‘sort of sci fi’ place where they could be chunks of dungeon, or ship, or machinery but there are no scale markers to give you any clues. It fit well with the manipulated and unnerving quality of the tracks on the split, I think.
Layout on this was by me, and it was released on cassette by Cruel Nature.
