I drew the initial image for this poster when I was somewhere between 4 and 7? In the spirit of not throwing anything away, I still have a bunch of old lined notebooks that I work my way through rather than buying new ones, and got to some with some childhood scribbling in. I have no idea what my initial intention was with this but it served as a framework for this lumpen monster, carrying the band names for the gig. I’ve been pretty obsessed with creatures and monstrosities for as long as I can remember so I’m probably not that far off what my younger self would have envisioned. Ink on paper, digitally coloured.
