ryosuke kiyasu + watts

zero gap

Zero Gap was a long distance project between Ryosuke Kiyasu of snare drum, Sete Stare Sept and Fushitsusha fame, and myself. When lockdown stymied any chance of further Shrimp gigs in the short term, Kiyasu sent me a snare set, I added gurgles and we got Dave Curle at First Avenue Studios to mix it all together for us.

Around the same time I was working on the illustration below, putting down a square of work on it a day over the course of October and as the timelines coincided it seemed like the ideal cover, so I finished off the spare space with our names. This was all done with 0.1 unipin on decent quality art paper, and then was scanned in and turned into prints (now sold out) and used for cassette art for a release on Cruel Nature Records.
